We're pleased to announce that our annual Sydney Dinner will be held on Friday 3 September, from 6.30pm at the Sofitel Wentworth Hotel in Sydney.
Join us for this special event featuring guest speaker, Andrew Lock, who will be delivering the Sir Edmund Hillary Memorial Address. In 2009 Andrew completed his sixteen year quest to climb fourteen of the world's 8000 metre peaks. He has led teams to some of the most extreme parts of the planet, surviving avalanches, frostbite and overcoming enormous physical and personal challenges. In 2009 Andrew was awarded Australian Geographic Society's Adventurer of the Year. In recognition of his efforts and his commitment to the people of the Himalaya, Andrew was appointed as the AHF's inaugural Ambassador in 2009.

Our previous Sydney events were an enormous success and the funds raised have enabled us to expand our projects in Nepal and India, including the Quality Education program helping more than 35,000 children to have a decent education in the poorest region of Nepal.
